Opened in July 2021, Schnepf Elementary School is the newest school in the Queen Creek Unified School District. We’re honored and excited to serve kindergarten through sixth-grade students in our brand new, state-of-the-art facilities.

Curriculum
Beyond Textbooks
QCUSD follows the Beyond Textbooks curriculum. Beyond Textbooks is a mastery learning model of a scope and sequence of state standards. Teachers meet regularly to review data collected on student mastery and adjust instruction accordingly on a weekly basis. All of these efforts are to guarantee our SES students are prepared to move forward.
AVID
SES uses many resources additional to our curriculum to meet the needs of the whole student. QCUSD is an AVID district. AVID is a program supporting best practices in writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, and reading.
Leader in Me
Through the 7 Habits Leader in Me program, students explore Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People in developmentally appropriate and engaging ways. This program equips students with essential leadership skills, empowering them to lead themselves and others with confidence. By participating in meaningful lessons and real world leadership opportunities students build a strong foundation for personal and collective success.
STEM
SES is one of QCUSD’s STEM-focused elementary schools. Here at SES, we integrate science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in our instruction and have a STEM lab here on our campus where students experience a variety of applications including robotics, engineering, and coding.
Our History
We are the home of the Schnepf Elementary Trailblazers. The definition of a trailblazer is a pioneer, an innovator, a person who makes a new track through wild country. The pioneering spirit of innovation is clearly represented in both the history and future focus of our school paying homage to the heritage of Queen Creek and the legacy of the Schnepf Family. Our school has been an “A” rated school each year, and we pride ourselves on growing learners and leaders.
